Discgolf at eurogames 2020
Discgolf combines two sports: classic ball golf and Frisbee disc sport. Instead of balls, discs fly through the air, instead of a hole in the ground, baskets with metal chains can be hit.
Rules
The tournament will be held under Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) rules. Event will be rated PDGA C-Tier Pro/Am. PDGA membership is desired but not necessary. Each player is required to have a personal liability insurance, which covers all possible damages induced by her/him during the tournament.
Categories
PDGA divisions are FPO, FP40, MPO, MP40, MP50, and MP60. Maximum spots are 72 across all divisions.
Program
Format is 3 rounds each with 18 holes with shotgun start.
Equipment
You will bring your own discs and desired sports equipment.
Access
You find the course at Am RennbahnPark 1, 41460 Neuss. It is only a 5 minutes’ walk from Metro station „Neuss Markt“. Starters and visitors can use the Metro Line 709. There is a parking lot next to the racecourse, which requires entry via Stresemannallee.
Shower/Toilet/Changing Rooms
There are no showers and changing rooms available. Toilets will be provided.
Medals
Every starter will get a participation-medal.
Winner Ceremony
There will be a presentation ceremony for the first three of each division after the final round.
Support/Visitors/Friends
For visitors is enough space to support the players at the course.
